Last year, as our family entered the holiday season, I made this post hoping for better times ahead:
At that time, I had no basis, other than faith, that better times would be ahead. A year ago, I wrote: “It’s encouraging to think of where we’ll be next year at this time though. By God’s grace and provision, my back will be strong, my body will be free of cancer, and we’ll enter a holiday season thankful for an easier year.”
I’m thankful to be savoring time with my family this holiday season and thankful to God that, almost exactly as I prayed for a year ago, that my back is strong, my body free of cancer, and I am immensely thankful for an easier year to come.
