I’m a few days into being back at work and I’m happy to report it’s kicking my butt (in a good way).

These are long and tiring days for me even though I’m only starting part time and working my way up as my treatments allow.

The great thing that work is allowing me to do is get back some normal in my life – back to a routine. I’m having to drive more, walk more, take more stairs, and push my fatigue limits. This is good for my healing. I’m getting lots of rest when I’m not working so I’m careful not to overdo it but so far I have found (and enjoyed) a good balance.

I know lots of people are worried I started working too soon or am prone to overdo it (who, me?). For you, I’m happy to report that all is well.

Treatment Update
This Friday I check into the hospital for 2-5 days for a special dose of chemo to my brain. I’ve also started with a new doctor in integrative medicine who is taking a wholistic approach to my health overall and managing side effects. So far the results are amazing.
