My book went on sale this week.
This is a huge step. As I was thinking back on the writing process, I was pondering who inspired me most this year. When my wife read my book for the very first time, her first comment was “Too much Acuff!” I guess that makes it clear, then, who I’ve been most inspired by while writing this book. My response to her was “Can you really have TOO MUCH Acuff?”
If you’re not familiar with Jon Acuff, let me catch you up on his work:
I’m highly anticipating the release of his most recent book “START.” I placed my pre-order for it the first chance I had. “Punch Fear in the Face” Who doesn’t need that!
You’ll still find quite a few references and quotes attributed to Jon in my book. His down to earth straight forward approach to being awesome when going after your dreams was exactly what I needed this year.
If I were you and I could only buy one book this year I’d buy mine. If you could only buy two? Buy mine and then buy START. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with either of them.
