HangingOnbyAThreadAfter more poking and prodding and testing and imaging, I’m still in the hospital. My fevers have gone away after trying four high octane IV antibiotics. I actually feel great! I walked over a mile yesterday and took 50 stairs.

An MRI last night revealed what may be nothing or what may be an infection/liquid draining near the titanium rods they installed in my back. This may be from when they flipped me over to do CPR in the middle of my back surgery.

Oncology, neurosurgery, and infectious disease will all put their heads together on this today. They will figure out a plan. With that plan, hopefully, will come a date that I can finally go home and a date that we can start chemo to kill the lymphoma. In the meantime, my patience is hanging on by a thread as I just take laps walking around the oncology floor, rest, and wait to hear from my doctors.
