I got some good news and some bad news from the bladder/nerve test yesterday. The good news is that I’m broken in a way that is safe for my body and I’m not at risk for kidney infection. My nerves are not capable of transmitting information to my brain or carrying information signals back from my brain. I’m also reminded that I’m very blessed to have the function that I have under the circumstances.
I’ve decided to not pursue another surgery at this time. I may look at that option again in a few months. This test confirmed that I am a candidate for it though.
Next up: port removal next Tuesday!
