I’ve wanted a bigger boat for some time. Maybe it was cancer. Maybe it was having a particularly successful boat tour season. Maybe it was having access to moorage. Things lined up for me to acquire this amazing 1966 Tollycraft (a big brother to my current boat) for a deal I couldn’t pass up. It will allow me to extend my enjoyment of the river into the fall and early spring when it’s usually too wet. My family will be able to camp on the boat as a weekend retreat. Its shade will keep us from sunburns and its cabin will be home to many family game and movie nights. Countless books will be read as it gently rocks in the waves.
First it needs a little work. Not much, but some. My post cancer physical condition is still improving but it slows me down on such projects. Thankfully, this is just the right amount of project at just the right time. I’m looking forward to it!
Cheers,
Captain Seth
