I’m happy to report that I had my six month remission checkup today and everything is clear. My CT scan didn’t show any new tumor growth. This is a huge blessing and an answer to so many prayers. Praise God!

A year ago today I woke up in the ICU after having suffered a cardiac arrest during the surgery to remove a tumor from my spine. How blessed I am to be able to be here today on the other side of cancer. God is good.

As summer officially ends and we head into fall, it’s great to think about how much family fun we’ve had this summer. We’re still at it as long as this weather lasts! We spent two nights on the new boat this weekend. It’s great close contact family time.
