Today is a big milestone for me. Doctors have approved me returning to work for limited duty. I’ll start at 20 hours per week and ramp up to my usual schedule as my treatments allow.
I’m thankful for a job (and boss) that is flexible to have allowed me 3 months off for my surgery and now the extra time I need to make it through this chemo phase while working to stay sharp.
I’m excited to get back to work to put my brain to some use, get out of the house, and see my friends at work. I worry about over doing it and getting fatigued or catch a cold in the process but I’ll be keeping a close eye on that.
Office, here I come!
