I’m back at OHSU today for a dose of inpatient chemo. This is to go after any cancer that may be in my brain (just in case). The infusion tonight will take 4 hours then they let it work on my brain for 24 hours. After it’s done it’s job, they want it to exit my body ASAP so it doesn’t zap my bone marrow. They give me IV’s of special juice as the antidote every 6 hours until it’s out of my body. Then they can clear me to go home.
The great news is I got the biggest room on the floor with great views of Portland and the river this time!
