My treatment ended a year ago this week. I was in the hospital for my last dose of methotrexate to make sure any Cancer that made it into my spinal fluid didn’t result in a brain tumor. I can’t believe it’s been a year since that last treatment.
We’re just a couple of weeks away from my one year remission check with a CT scan. I’ll also meet with neurosurgery and infectious disease to check on my titanium implants and infection.
I’m blessed to be back to full energy and able to wrestle with my kids occasionally again. This has been a terrifying but amazing ride. Thank you all for keeping me in your prayers as I recovered this year.
