A year ago I had a lemon sized tumor in my back. It made living difficult. When I have boat tours, I wore a back brace. I constantly iced my back to take away the pain. I was maxed out on painkillers.
A year ago this week, I did “The Big Float” with my wife. She did most of the paddling since my back couldn’t keep up. I could barely walk.
Also a year ago, we hit the Wilson pool with the kids. I wasn’t much fun. This year I’m pain free and cancer free. Praise God.
