In a short one hour surgery today, a surgeon removed the port that was used to deliver the chemotherapy drugs into my body. You know this stuff is nasty if it destroys your veins and has to be delivered directly to the heart. I’m happy to be rid of this thing. It brings a sense of finality to my treatment.
