This cycle of chemo was particularly hard. It hit harder than usual, lasted longer, and then I got sick just as I started to recover. I’m just now feeling back to normal.
My doctor said this is to be expected. He said your body doesn’t take a punch from Muhammad Ali the same way you do in the first round when you’re in the twelfth round. I suppose that’s a good summary of the last two weeks. I can also expect my next treatment to be a little rough too.
