I am very glad to be out of the hospital and back at home. I love being able to wake up in my own bed, eat my own food, and spend time with my kids.
Unfortunately, the side effects of my first dose of chemo are kicking in. The last 2 days I’ve been pretty fatigued. That should start to get better soon from what I’ve heard (but everybody’s different).
Please pray for reduced side effects of the chemo drugs, continued healing of the surgery site in my back, reduced infection through the antibiotics, and that we’re on our way to curing this cancer completely.
