Good news!
I have been released from the intensive care unit and am now resting on the normal neurosurgery floor. I have been unhooked from many of the machines so hopefully I will be able to sleep more tonight.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during the surgery and recovery in the ICU. They were certainly needed! Now I will enter the next phases of my recovery. I am already feeling less pain and have more strength in some areas compared to before the surgery.
